Our reservation policies

Thank you for your interest in dining at the Tailor and the Cook, we look forward to having you! Please take note of our reservation policies:
We do not accept reservations requests via email.

  • We are an intimate restaurant of only 40 seats, and they do fill up fast! We strongly encourage you to make your reservations early. Reservations can be made by calling 315.624.FOOD, or preferably right here on our website. If you look just to the right, you will find the online reservation application.
  • Your table can only be held for 15 (fifteen) minutes after the scheduled reservation time. If you are running late, kindly call our host at 315.624.FOOD to make us aware. We will do our best to hold your table, but oftentimes we must move on in the interest of scheduling. We will do whatever we can to accommodate your seating in the event you are running late, however we cannot guarantee your seating after 15 minutes. All guests in the party must present in order to be sat.
  • Please note our 24 hour cancellation policy: Parties that cancel inside of the 24 hour window may be subject to a fee of $20 per person if the table cannot be filled. Additionally, parties that do not show for their reservation, as well as parties that arrive with less than the reserved number of guests may also be subject to a fee of $20 per reserved person. We kindly ask that you let us know at your earliest convenience if you are unable to keep your reservation, or if the number of guests in your party changes.

  • Parties of 8 or more guests can only be accommodated after 9pm, please call 315.624.FOOD to speak to a manager regarding large parties.
