Do I need a reservation?

Reservations are strongly encouraged.  Please know that weekends and holidays fill up very quickly.  Please visit our website www.thetailorandthecook.com to book your table.  Reservations can also be made by calling the restaurant at 315.624.FOOD.  We accept reservations up to two months in advance of the numerical date.

We also offer full dinner service at our 8 seat bar nightly, on a first come first serve basis, as well as on our patio during the summer months.

Do you offer Gluten Free dishes?

We have so many GF guests, and are very happy to accommodate. Almost all of our dishes can be prepared gluten free.  Some dishes do contain some forms of gluten, but we make great effort to be able to sub or swap them out easily. Let us know when booking your reservations, or just let your server know when you sit down if you have any gluten intolerances or preferences. Our servers are experts on the menu, and will be happy to guide you.  There are very few dishes that couldn’t be amended to accommodated gluten free concerns.  Tell us what looks appealing to you, and we will tell you how we can accommodate you.  We also offer a great selection of artisanal ciders for gluten free beverages, as well as wine and spirits, of course.

Do you offer vegetarian and/or vegan options?

There are always a minimum of 2 Pescetarian entrees on our menu, as well as one Vegetarian entree, and an additional Vegan entree. There are also a variety of delicious appetizer and sides offered that appeal to Pescetarians and Vegetarians.  Vegans are advised to let us know preferences when making reservations, or kindly let your server know of your preferences upon arrival to the restaurant.  Many dishes may be made vegan with minor modifications.

Do you have a dress code?

We strive to make our guests feel comfortable and at ease with their dining experience. There is no dress code. Please dress however you are comfortable to dine with us.
